TELL US WHAT YOU THINK
OR ASK US A QUESTION

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE?

A: Riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, unless you make arrangements with us.

For older riders, we recommend a maximum age of 70. If you're older, you need to be physically able to stand on your feet for 2 hours, absorb bumps, avoid obstacles, and handle the Segway.

Q: I WENT TO YOUR LOCATION, BUT DON'T SEE A STORE. WHERE ARE YOU?

A: We are a van-based business! We are only at our location when guests have reserved in advance. If you've reserved a tour, we'll be there for you. If you drop by or try to do a walk-in tour, we may not be there!

Q: WHAT IS THE MAX WEIGHT?

A: Segways are designed to be ridden by individuals weighing between 100-260 pounds (45-118 kilos).

If your young rider weighs less than 100 pounds, we have 1 "kids only" Segway for them to ride!

Q: HOW BIG CAN OUR GROUP BE?

A: We can accommodate a group of 8, on a combination of devices/rides. We have a fleet of 6 Segway i2 Transporters, and 2 electric Segway KickScooters. KickScooters have a max weight of 220 pounds and don't climb as well as Segway i2 transporters, so we have large group routes that don't climb big hills.

If you're interested in booking a large group (over 6 guests), give us a call at: 844-SLC-ROLL

Q: WHERE DO I PARK?

A: There are several pay options immediately surrounding our meeting location. There is a garage, the lot in which we park our Adventure Van, and street parking.

Salt City Rollers does not validate parking, nor are we responsible for any tickets, damage, or theft sustained to your vehicle.

Q: ARE SEGWAYS HARD TO RIDE?

A: Great question! They are so easy and intuitive! They do all the work for you! If you can walk and climb stairs, chances are you'll do great riding a Segway. We devote up to 30 minutes of rider training to make sure everyone is confident before we depart. Are there risks? Of course. But we'll teach you what you need to know to stay safe.
